Makeup.School Review: Kamila Khaydarova, United Arab Emirates
One of the things we love about makeup, is it’s worldwide connection and influence. Makeup Artistry crosses countries, races, and people all around the world. What’s unqiue about an online makeup school (aka Makeup.School) is the ability to cross lines with the makeup. We have students around the globe, and no matter where they are from, we absolutely love hearing feedback about their experience with us. Like Bobbie Harvey from London, Kamila from the United Arab Emirates has a lot to share. From a country who is known for it’s glam and fashion, check out Kamila’s review on Makeup.School below.

What inspired you become a makeup artist?
Since I was a little kid, I used to steal my mom’s make up and apply it on my face when no one would see. I guess my beautiful mother was my first inspiration to always look pretty, and make up is a great tool to help achieve this.
What made you choose Makeup.School over other online makeup artistry programs?
Before I choose anything, I do a massive research about the products. I have read a lot of positive feedback about this school which is quite impressive. Besides the reviews, I think this course is affordable for everyone. I also like the flexibility. You can watch, download, and read on any device, which is really great.
What do you think of the program so far?
I think this program is quite detailed, which is very important. There are no unnecessary talks from instructors. If I have any questions, it can be asked and answered in the private members only Facebook group, where additionally I already made a lot of friends.
What is your favorite aspect of the program?
I like that this program provides all the necessary information, such as books and videos. I personally like to read, as I pay more attention while reading. The makeup books provided by the school are very informative and simply outstanding.
Very prepared. I’m actually already feeling like a professional MUA!
What are your future plans? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years?
In 5 years I see myself owning a Make Up Academy in the United Arab Emirates..In 10 years, I see myself as one of the most famous and professional MUA, and own additional makeup academies in different countries.
Eyebrow pomade from Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes from Morphe, and a good eyeliner.
What one piece of advice would you give to someone who was just starting Makeup.School?
Don’t give up. Don’t be shy. Ask questions if you want to know something. And practice, practice, practice!
Besides makeup, tell us what else interests you!
Make up is my biggest passion. Besides makeup, I just want to be a good wife, a good mother for my son, and just a good person.
